I totally agree. I also personally think that novelty is a big part of enthusiasm for me.

So true. Whenever I'm in a less-than-stellar place in my life, I start planning vacations or moves to new places.

I totally agree with you.
when im feelin' in a funk about stuff i always try to pull myself out by thinking "YEAHHH! i get to do XY and Z in a few days" or "HOLY CRAP! that was an awesome sandwich i just made"
something to be enthusiastic about and something to look forward to are pretty much my jam and make me happy.
