Dollhouse

So I know at least a couple of people out there in LJ world that are big Joss Whedon fans.  Has anyone been watching Dollhouse?  I watched the first couple of episodes on hulu, and I must say that I like it even more than I expected to.  I do wish there was a bit more of the random, unexpected comedy of some of his other shows, but I'm thinking

I'm giving Dollhouse some time to get ramped up, because i think Joss is gonna take it in some amazing directions. The first two episodes really grossed me out, especially the one with the hunter, because Echo's basically being literally whored out to this guy, but it's pretty obvious now that the Dollhouse folks are the bad guys here and when Echo has her Alpha-like event where she goes rogue (that's gotta be coming, right?), the show's really gonna take off.

I read an interview with Eliza Dushku that basically said that the first 5 episodes were supposed to be standalone so they didn't get canceled and the sixth one is where Joss finally just told everyone to get off his case and started going off the deep end, so my guess is by ep 6 Echo will go rogue and find Buffy to help her kill the dollhouse people.

This show succeeds in making Tamoh Penikett unattractive and I'm not very happy about that. Why's he always slouched over?!

Well, I hope it doesn't get canceled, cause it's bitchin.

And I don't think they've made Tamoh Penikett unattractive in the least. Still totally hot...just in a moody, scowly FBI kind of way.
