Desperate student needs help!

Does anyone know where I can get a recent version of microsoft word for cheap or get it installed for free (i.e. if U of M has free or affordable installation of the program for students). Thank you.

I have lost three papers in two months due to how old my version of word is.

How particular are you about the legitimacy of this software's procurement?

You should be able to get it from the U. I got mine for $5 before I graduated. Contact the Computing Services people. I know where their building is but don't know what its called..
