That sucks, I can't believe they got away with that. Unfortunately, racism won't go away for a while, if ever at all. The current surge of conservatism is a testiment to that. Conservatives are the direct political descendents of segregationalists. They all want to go back to the days before the "moral decay" of the 1960's, where, shockingly enough, black people started gaining Civil Rights. I don't see why Americans want to turn their backs on Liberalism, it has done so much for everybody...
