Today consisted of several intense, busy periods followed by extended slots of nothingness. First off was tennis camp. 'Tis been forever, I know. We got back from New Orleans and Panama City Tuesday night. In New Orleans, as promised, we went to The National D-Day Museum. I can't really think of much to say tonight. Mummy is thankfully home from the hospital as of last night, but she is still extremely weak and can't do very much. The doctor had to be persuaded profusely before he decided she could go ( Read more... )

Today was very eventful. Mummy is in the hospital! We spent all afternoon there; then we went and got something to eat while they took her to have an X-ray; after that we came back and were there until about nine. She has a kidney infection and was severely dehydrated. It was really traumatic for her because pretty much the last times she was in ( Read more... )

You have no idea how burned I am. I went to the six mile March of Dimes walk this morning (forgive me for not writing about how much fun it was), but that wasn't where I got burnt. Early in the afternoon Hayley and I went outside and laid out in the sun. Not on the beach. Never on the beach, since I am anti-beach. This is especially ironic ( Read more... )

I now have a cool new CD thanks to Laura (and also to her brother for downloading all those songs years ago). I love my assortment of late 90's bands. It's great. I made Hayley listen to some of it when I got home, and she so keenly pointed out that there wasn't one female artists in all of the nineteen songs.
