Oooh. A new car? Sounds very very exciting!

as for the car, the change will only be temporary, and not really new at all (just new to me). my aunt is having her bunion removed. and since she drives an enormous van, she wants to have a lower car where she doesn't have to "hop" into it. and my mom's car is high, and my dad doesn't want to change cars for all of next week, and so here i am. i really don't mind so much, since my aunt is a sweetheart and it will make her happy and more comfortable. and i already got the temporary sticker so i can still park at school. but the thing is, the van is really, really big. and driving it, and parking it, and trying not to clip everything else on the road, is going to be a challenge. i think my strategy is going to be to avoid heavy traffic times, even if it means going to ( ... )

Wow a car!! If I could choose - and if I could drive - I'd get a Mini Cooper! :)

oooh, if i could get a really new car i would get a mini cooper too! i would want one that was red with the white racing stripe down the side. where i go to school one of the professors had a mini cooper that was blue with white stars painted all over it. i always wondered if he taught astronomy or if he just thought it looked cool.
but the car i'm getting is my aunt's, and just for a week. she is having her bunion removed from her foot, and she wants a lower car to get into for the next few days, so i am giving her mine and i'm going to be driving her huge van. it's very big, much bigger than anything i've driven before, so that makes me a little nervous. i don't think i will be doing any parallel parking. or backing up at all. but it will be okay. and even though it isn't actually exciting, i'm glad i can help her.
