When was the last time I updated this thing? -checks-
August. Wonderful.
Well, my life's been busy. Ridiculously busy, actually. And I mean RIDICULOUSLY. This weekend? Here was my schedule:
Friday
7-2 school
2-4 marching band
5-6 band picnic
6-11 football game
Saturday
8-2 work
530-11 homecoming
Sunday
8-3 horse show
So now I'm supposed to be doing homework. And I'm not. So how about I bitch about my life? =) Or just tell you how my weekend went.
Marching band was all right. We had fun at the picnic, during practice...but the football game was freezing. Our performance sucked. So we were standing there, in the cold, waiting for the football game to end, playing the school song whenever they scored. Then they went into overtime. Then again. Then again. And AGAIN. Quadruple overtime, in 45 degree weather!! We were miserable.
Work was fine. Long, but fine. No stories to share. Then I came home, showered, got dressed, did my hair, and left for my friend's house armed with baked ziti and baked chicken thighs. (Our friend's boyfriend brought taffy apple salad--crushed snickers bars, apples, and cool whip. To die for.) We had fun. Evie's two friends from chicago were craaaazyyy. But they were really nice, amazing.
I didn't dance with any guys. Boohoo.
Anyway, then I had the show the next morning (being this morning) and I was late, but Danielle tacked Cinnamon up, so it was fine. (Danielle is amazingly nice, and I love her parents.) We had fun. Robo's a sexy beast, we decided, and we're going to tattoo it on his ass. I won two firsts and a third with Cinnamon (and a champion in the division!) and then two thirds and a fourth with Folly. So I'm happy.
And now, I'm catching up on everything I need to do that I COULDN'T do because I was crazy busy. I haven't showered yet, but I don't feel like it. I'll do it later. I've got homework to do. And flute to practice. And Fringe and Sanctuary to watch.
