Dean's indifference to Cas makes me sad. I really want a sequel with some Sassy h/c.

I'm sorry it came across as indifference! Dean was really concerned with Sam at first but I had thought he was showing more concern for Cas when he got angry with Gabriel. There is still a lot more of this story in my brain, and Dean definitely cares a lot about Cas. If I post a sequel, that will definitely be a big part of it. Poor Cas, and poor Sam for that matter. You descriptions are very vivid and it was almost painful to read.

I would enjoy to read how Cas and Sam managed to work all this out and if Gabriel ever found a way to reverse the binding spell.
