So hey, 2015 happened.
Boy, that sure was a year, wasn't it?
Good stuff:
- Got to spend it with my ‘Bootscreature. (No, I’m not done gushing. I may never be done gushing.)
- Finished and posted a chapter fic for the first time, cowrote three more with aforementioned ‘creature.
- Wrote three short stories.
- Wrote some porn.
- Cooked a lot of delicious foods.
- Took Python, CSS, and game design courses on Coursera. (Javascript is ongoing.)
Bad stuff:
- Failed utterly at Employability.
- Did very little art.
- Only wrote three short stories, despite lots of free time this year, and sold none of them.
- My country continues careening down the road to Have You Lost Your Fucking Mindville, and my dad is going full Fox Geezer on me.
In the coming months I want to pull together a more decent portfolio that shows I can write, design and code, but I’m not sure where to start. I also want to pick up my novel again and actually finish it by the end of the year. I just don’t want to spend another year flailing around uselessly and getting crappy retail job after crappy retail job. (Though right now I’d love a crappy retail job. XD)
