Jobless

Why are there never any jobs advertised in the Guardian Media section that I could actually apply for? Most of them are sales and then the Editorial-type ones all want people coming from the same type of job who have 3+ years of experience. It's very annoying. And today there were editorial jobs offered located in Hong Kong and Dubai --WHERE'S ( Read more... )

Wow, we saw a lot of movies together!

And they were all excellent! I hope this trend continues. And now you have to say, BEST PICTURE winner LOTR: The Return of the King! Heheheheheheh.

Bill Murray was ROBBED. And not by Johnny Depp. Which is unacceptable. I love how the academy and what it represents is all gushy over Sean Penn now, when they weren't exactly giving him many breaks back when he was with Madonna. Now he's a hollywood darling. Go figure.

And BIG YAY For Charlize Theron! Though I do think the actress getting ugly for a role played more of a part than it should, (Like there's something noble about her deigning to look human) she's a great actress you gets shitty roles that are beneath her way too much (prolly cause of her good looks), I've loved her range and ability since Devil's Advocate. Though I first saw her in 2 Days in the Valley, she was good, but the part didn't require much other than beauty and additude.

Look, it's an Andy sized comment!

I haven't even got to what we watched on DVD/TV yet!

Them Hollywood types are fickle.

I prefer "Eleven Times Academy Award(TM)-Winner (Including Best Picture and Best Director - Peter Jackson), The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King." Just trips off the tongue.

You saw "Love, Actually?" Damn, you're whipped! I would have come and hung out with ya'll if anyone had bothered to call me. You could have seen the real katz instead of just my deli. By the way, the 2nd ave Deli is far superior to Katz's.

I actually WANTED to see Love, Actually...! I saw a trailer back when I saw Kill Bill Vol. 1 and I thought it looked pretty funny and I was blown away by the cast (loads of Brits I recognised from TV as well as movies). It worked out well that I could see it with Edie, because it is rather more a date-movie than a guy-sees-on-his-own-movie and there are certain plotlines which struck rather too close to home for me to have not seen it with her ( ... )
