Genius :D

I would care about the possessive apostrophe less if I hadn't been told off both for using it and not using it. In that situation I feel obliged to know which is right and if I've had to do research on the subject it's a waste not to complain vocally :P

There are signs in the law department saying that a judge has ruled that the possessive apostrophe doesn't exist. I think it has something to do with a particular kind of contract law, but since the sign lacked sufficient context to let me be sure I choose to believe the possessive apostrophe is now illegal.
