what the hell was that?

Simon. Need to talk.

These monsters, have they been here as long as we have?

[Private || very mildly hackable]

Seems like a pointless endeavor honestly... Now that all is over with I... don't know where I'm going, or even what the point of going anywhere is. Other than to hope maybe, maybe they'll bring him, one of them, either ( Read more... )

Depends on which people you refer to.

Point, but you're the longest standing.

Have they been?

According to a native I spoke to when I got here, the damned dogs arrived when I did.

When people arrive, they seem to tug along beasts, too.

Given the wide variety as per the recent report, it is hard to believe that all of those creatures are natives to the area. Surely, whatever killed the precursors killed the wildlife...unless....the wildlife was mutated somehow. That would support the nuclear fallout theory. I do not want to believe that one.

Considering the repression of 'supernatural' abilities applied to all the residents brough here would identify this world was somewhat 'normal' I would say the likelyhood of any of them being native is low. At least in the form of which they now are.

Or the suppression could be merely for the Group's own gain- to prevent us from rising against them. We don't know how much authority they had before this apocalypse.
Whatever the case, I believe that the creatures were brought here much as we were. This seems to be the popular opinion. The notion that any of them were human once is too...conveniently science fiction. In my world biology hardly works that way. No mutation that I know of could truly turn someone into the beasts we see around here in three to six years. That is considerably less than one generation, unless they breed like roaches.
Of course...my argument may very well be meaningless. I am using reasoning based on the physics of my own world.

You'd be surprised what you can get with the wrong chemicals around.

This is about the chip, I'm assuming. I'll hear you out, so long as you don't mind having a third party present.
