Strange Sun - Park Hye Ri The black-haired man sat by the window, on the white bed, watching closely as the raindrops slid down slowly on the glass material. He stretched out his fingers, touching the window while coldness diffuses into his skin, as if trying to feel the water droplets outside. He raised his head and his eyes caught a glimpse of the heaven’s eye, hiding solemnly behind the dark clouds, slowly disappearing. He sighed, for the numerous times. It was the 7th time this week, non-stop, after the other was gone, the rain fall heavily as if mourning for him.
He wished he could be outside, playing under the rainfalls, and feels the god’s gift on his body once again. But he simply couldn’t. He just simply couldn’t. Since the rain reminded him of the other. The memories between the two of them together, the delighted overwhelming feeling his heart always creates and the sad tears that disappears, combining with the raindrops. And he also wished that the sun shows his face, so he could get new hopes.
Why? He had been questioning himself over again. Why didn’t the sun show himself? Why must he hides behind the dark dull clouds and didn’t brag about his lights? Why?
He couldn’t take it. The moment he wished for the lights to bring new hopes for him, it was the moment his dreams were crushed. He wanted to get over the other. He wanted to get out of these memories, the world both of them created. He wanted to start all over again. All he needed was the light, the shining hope-giving light as a reason for him to keep on living. And yet the light didn’t shine through the very window he sat by, the very day he had decided to be a new person, without the presence of the other.
He bit his lips, a hand still feeling the coldness of the raindrops through the window and another one clenching to his white shirt. He closed his eyes, ears capturing every little sound outside the window, the sound of the heavy rainfall on the window.
He couldn’t forget him.
He looked beside him, a body laid down on the white bed, hand on hand, and the face showed calmness. Next to the body were an opened envelope and a small clear bottle, half occupied with small rounded pills.
He turned around as he heard softly someone calling his name.
“Ryo…” as he saw the one’s calling for him, his thin lips formed a sincere smile. There, stood his lover, the one with brown orbs accompanying the same shade locks, in white, offering a hand to him.
He knew he couldn’t live without the other. As he wished for the strange sun to appear, he also wished to be forever with his dear. He knew, he had taken the right option when he heard the rain falling to the ground. Even though he had been hoping yet what he wished for was not granted. Soon, he made the option, to be with him, to be with the other, for he knew that nothing was left when he was gone, only the painful happy memories every time the dark clouds covered the sun, delivering the small droplets of water.

“Tatsuya…” and he took the other’s hand, slowly disappearing from the world.
The sun. A big star which its light sometimes burn people and sometimes gives hope to the mankind. But sometimes, he hides behind the gloomy dark clouds, offering nothing to the men. It is strange indeed how one can hope for its light and also wish for it to not show himself. All because of the strange sun.
