[Everyone needed to unwind sometimes, and Asbel was no different. Leaving a note behind at the house saying that he and ledbythewind were "going out tonight", the duo set off to the bar. Because what better way to unwind than by knocking back a drink? Or ten? It was the perfect way to relax, after everything's that's been happening in Luceti recently

[Richard's idea after a few shots of tequila, okay (which he also introduced Asbel to). Although now that he's actually looking at it... well, he's not quite sure he's drunk enough to try it just yet.]

I wasn't aware that it still had the entire snake in it.

[The tequila was certainly interesting, so despite his hesitations over something called "snake wine", he agreed to it.]

Yeah... I'd assumed that was just a gimmick.

Are we supposed to take it out before we pour it, or just leave it in the bottle?

It seems like it'd be pretty difficult to remove it...

[Richard and Asbel were going out tonight. Hubert isn't fully convinced that this is a good idea.

Suspicions and the general desire to do something take him to various places around the village, where he eventually winds up in Good Spirits. Spotting the two men (in a bar, gracious), he approaches.]

Drinking, Brother? [He then directs his gazeat Richard, as a way of greeting.] Your Highness.

[OH CRAP, HUBERT. Okay, just act natural, Asbel. No problem. You're good at that.

...Okay maybe not, but you've got nothing to hide.]

Yeah, we are.

[Richard has clearly had a few drinks already, as he's forgotten that he and Hubert are from different time periods and thus has no problems with dropping the "Sir."]

Would you like to join us? There's an empty seat on Asbel's other side.

[Hm. Gaze fixed on Richard, he simply replies,]

No, thank you.

[He could have provided an excuse, but he thinks it unnecessary when Richard seems to have already had a drink or two. Hubert turns back to Asbel, his voice just above a whisper.]

I trust you'll keep this from getting out of hand . . .

[ Welp. Sophie went looking for Asbel, and also Richard, because she was worried (and also Pascal never stops trying to touch her and Asbel is supposed to be her shield, okay). And she doesn't really notice that it's a bar they're in, but instead cluelessly makes her way towards them after noticing them. ]

Asbel! Richard! I found you! [ She looks happy to see them! ]

[Richard is somewhat wasted by now, meaning that his good judgment? Yeah, it's kind of gone out the window. Instead of the appropriate horrified reaction like Asbel's, Richard will just be smiling and waving to the girl.]

You certainly did-- come sit down.

[ She does as Richard says, approaching them and sitting down next to Asbel. She doesn't really notice how Asbel feels about her being here, nor does she notice that Richard is somewhat wasted! ]

What are you two doing here?

[Charlotte is spying on them. Yep. Has been for a while actually because they look like they're having fun but specifically she's doing with with a fruity tini drink in her hand now and finally making her way over]

[By this point, Asbel's had a few drinks, and Richard's had... more than a few drinks. He greets Charlotte rather enthusiastically when she comes over.]
