Что бы вы думали? Ножи!

Я всю свою сознательную кулинарную жизнь пользовалась копеечными ножами из икеи. И вот думаю - может попробовать что-то более качественное-приятное? Японское? Изменится ли от этого скорость-качество строгания салатиков ( Read more... )

I think its important to have good knives, you don't need many, but the ones you do have should be excellent. :)
We have Global - they are not just great, but also gorgeous :)
Here is all we have:
Chef's
Sashimi (it really does work best on fish)
Santoku - I use that for pretty much everything
Long slicer - for bread and slicing meats
Paring knife - great for smaller stuff
Utility knife
Clever - that one is not really being used, but it was a present

BTW, my dear husband got me 3 of these knives for our first Christmas together. I loved him for it.
Also, the better/sharper knives are, the less chances of cutting yourself.
