We did not leave Madison on time last night and it totally sucked! We left the club at 12:45 and it was barely raining. Picked up Tristan at the Kundesoll residence and by then the roads were starting to get slick. By the time we got to the beltline it was worse and when we reached Verona we were doing about 25 mph. what a nightmare! The more I read LJ the more I am glad I stayed in last night. I am glad you guys made it home, mostly in one piece. I cant imagine living so far out (and up!) in the winter.

I was involved in two car accidents. We are all right, but DAMN! wow...

What a fucked up end to an evening, that's for sure.

Glad you at least made it home safe. If I lived near you, I'd throw on my m00n b00tz and come help you.

Everyone here is safe and sound also.. and after calling you guys last night, we tried to reach Kat and Steve, and they txt'd us this morning that they made it home.. but also had to walk at some point..

I'm currently in the basement helping Jai with her paper and avoiding looking outside...

I'm relaly happy you guys did make it out tho.. it was great to see you and have dinner! :)

Maybe.. once the weather's a bit better--like not in the middle of a snow hurricane--we can have a hot tub night by you guys! :)

That was the first thing we thought of too! I'm just glad we were dealing with snow!

Glad you all made it back safe. Thanks for dinner and for checking in on us too. I had fun until we slid into the ditch and had to take an early morning hike.

As far as this shitty weather, I just have to keep thinking..."This too shall pass". Now would be a good time! ;) And then we will have a hot tub party.
