I would say keep them as mod characters since, yeah, they are pretty powerful and I'd feel weird having them in player-hands.

I can mostly play Mickey for basic encounters... saving people, making friends, simple stuff he'd be needed for. I don't trust myself to be as... I can't play Maly for beans. :|

Since you are easily distracted and haven't modded before... have at least on other mod, two at the most.

Like I've told you before, there are some things that need tweaking, and details that need ironing out, but it's definitely doable. You'll have to make it clear for the players that any huge moves they make must be mod approved, and read all things that are sent to you and discuss them thoroughly with the other mods ( ... )

Well, one of my thoughts was the apps for villains (for sure), and possibly also heroes/undecided is a Dark Ambition section. Where the character lists exactly what they'd go after if corrupted/given access to godly power. (Wesker's COMPLETE GLOBAL SATURATION, Kefka's destruction of all existance, Emperor's "I wanna be god", The Mayor from Buffy's "I wanna be a giant snake", that stuff). So as to keep the villains on point, and yes there would be lots of mod talking about what they are after ( ... )

That's a good idea, and I'd say include it in all apps, on the off-chance that they are given that sort of power. It could help the players develop and get to know their characters a little better before entering them into the game, which is always a good thing.

Yeah, I know. That's why I'd advise just allowing one version of a character to be apped; it's more fair to give players a choice, but you don't get as much confusion. I think most people would lean toward the original versions of the characters anyway, and they wouldn't know who Maleficent is. And besides, it's mostly just Disney and original KH characters that know her, right ( ... )

My thought process is this (on the FF KH thing):

Someone apps "Leon". If, somehow, one of the worlds to open up was the world from FFVIII... there would be a big gaping hole in the story as there is no Squall. Like giant gaping hole in plot that I can't tapdance out of. Now this isn't very likely unless I get a huge fan of VIII to be another mod. As I really really disliked VIII and haven't a lot of desire to make it an event. But the same issue could come up with Vivi for IX, Cloud for VII, etc. Also there would be the fact that "Leon" would be tied to Hollow Bastion, which would be the home for all people that kick puppies ( ... )
