i haven't thought of my mum much for the past 16 years. . . somehow while walking home today. . . i did. . . perhaps it's the uncertainty surrounding my dad's condition. . . the world suddenly seems like a really lonely place. . .

spent the last two days with my colleagues at king chulalongkorn hospital near sala daeng station. . . i feel like i have been transported back in time to the 70s. . . the buildings . . . the nurses uniform. . . such a refreshing change from the ultra modern hospitals of singapore
