Oh goodness! That certainly does sound like a bad moment in time, but I'm sure things will get better. I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I applied to seventy-two jobs while I was in D.C. for a few months right after college. I was invited to two interviews, neither of which got me hired. I got about ten responses total. Then I came to Pittsburgh, and about a month later my sister got me my awesome Kaplan job. Now I work from home and manage to make rent every month and eat almost every day.
The point being, sometimes things work out. Keep a sharp eye for good luck and you will almost definitely find some. Plus, you're great and it's not your fault that things haven't worked out yet.
