Getting hotter in Madison...the plants are thriving, we have a banana pepper that's about two inches long, and the tomatoes are tiny and green. I haven't found a summer job yet, but at least I'm getting reading done for my exam in
August. And it is kind of nice to be able to sleep in a lot. I sleep on my porch occasionally.
lollyjoy moved her whole bed to her porch. We spent the weekend reading and napping and biking to the near east side for breakfast at Lazy Jane's and Farmer's Market fun. Green tomatoes! And more reading and napping. Other household nappers include Idgie, who apparently has a special sleeping position for when it's hot out. I call it the "baby seal":
