A lot of things have been happening lately. Maybe things are always happening, or things have always been happening, and it's not until I start to write them down that I can see them all at once. It's been hard to focus lately. I've noticed I'll easily lose track of a lot of things to think about and make sense of the experience. Not all of it'

Things do indeed happen all the time but not uniformly in your sphere of awareness. Sometimes you get a little cluster.

Athletic shoes aren't very good for dancing, it's true. Any dress shoe would be better or any shoe that can slide on the toe. Bowling shoes are great.

I hope everythign comes together for a nice Christmas. At the very least get out and enjoy the silence. It's the quietest day of the year in Santa Cruz.

(by the way, I hate it when people tell me to cheer up when I'm depressed. So take it in a way that is non-hate inducing. :)
