My doll of a boyfriend suprised me and took me out to ichiban last night. <3 we got all dressed up - I wore my prom dress from tenth grade and he wore his tux from goth prom and it was fabu. it was my first time ever going there, and i was a little bit like uh... what do i do? turned out it was one of those restaurants where they make the food at your table. it was so cool. the chef did all these neato tricks with his knives, and he flipped eggs (still in the shell!) all around the place with his spatula, and he tossed rice back and forth between bowls and other cool stuff. I'm still in awe of all the skills those guys must need in order to have a job like that. and after all that, the food was so good. oh... so good. i actually ate most of my vegetables. and i tried calamari, and it was in this amazing sauce that was delicious. and i had chicken liver something something, and it was really good too. and i had salmon. i'm not a huge seafood person, but the stuff totally melted in my mouth. it was so much fun and so good. alicia's rating - 5/5 stars. :D
