It is good to see you and know how you are. This thing is scary, but it does seem that the best thing we can do is isolate ourselves, so hurrah for the internet and dogs Be well.
Thank you for checking in. I, too, am an introvert who lives alone with her dog, and I, too, have hope and insist on staying around to see the better times that will come.
*hugs* to you, Raksha... while I hate that you're battling BC again, I'm very glad that treatment is working. May it continue to for a long, long time.
It's a good thing to be an introvert these days, isn't it!
The treatment is certainly easier this time around: I take chemotherapy in a pill 21 days out of each month. I am supposed to take it for close to two more years, depending on how my system continues to respond. So far, minimal side-effects; but it does make me more vulnerable to the virus. I take my estrogen blocker every day and will have to do so for the rest of my life.
Yes, it's good to be an introvert nowadays. I have a close friend who, a few weeks ago, was bemoaning the fact that the clubs and concerts were shutting down; and she's a well-read feminist; but unlike me has a strong tolerance for crowds and loud music. This period has been harder for her.
