REALLY a rotten day in Seattle. I don't mind the rain... it brings a lot of benefits. They don't call this the 'Emerald City' for no good reason. but man, today we're having high winds with 60MPH gusts. Ick! I can't deal with the wind. Power outages are a distinct possibility ( Read more... )

Probably easier for me than for Cathy. She has to drive in it! Ick! All I have to do is catch my bus. But, yeah. A nasty day.

60 MPH, wow! We had 30 a few days ago, and I thought my hair was going to blow right off my head.

Yuk! We had the wind and rain last Thursday and Friday. I hope it passes quickly and leaves your power intact.

We had really bad winds here in the UK last night and I've lost another fence panel! So more upheaval and expense! Once upon a time hubbie would have sorted out the problem and got a new fence back in straight away. I do so miss him at times like this.

Christmas - ummm I suppose I really ought to start thinking about it!!!!
