New Layout!!

I decided to go with something totally different this time. It's not Sean and Elijah or even Sam and Frodo. It's not even Tolkien, though Tolkien's aura is certainly all around it.

Tell me what you think of it.By the way, that waterfront you see in the picture is Alki Beach, where Cathy and I (and me by myself) always walk. My favorite place in ( Read more... )

It looks great, although I do miss the fandom connection. Now that the holiday is over, I'm trying to decide what I want to do with my own layout. I've never had anything/anyone but Elijah, which is a hard habit to break, but perhaps it's time for something/someone new.

Sweet lady, I'll NEVER be disconnected from our fandom. And trust me, S&E may be back before you know it. Just wanted to try something different.

It's lovely! I can see why you feel Tolkien's aura around it.

What a lovely photo. I love the mountain in the background, too.

Maybe it's just my monitor, but why didn't you make the it wider? I very much like that it's easy to read though.

That's Mt. Rainier.. the BIG GUY. It dominates the landscape around here. There are mountains everywhere but Rainier is THE mountain.

It's a pre done layout by ummm..... scholarslayouts I think. So I didn't get to decide how wide it would be.

Yes, I knew that was Mt. Rainer. I have friends who have climbed it several times with various hiking groups. They've also climbed Mount St. Helens. Brave souls.

It occurred to me after I left my previous comment that you probably didn't want the rest of your layout to be larger than the photo. Makes sense. In any event, I like your layout.
