Devotchka!!

One of my Christmas gifts from Cathy (well... a gift to both of us) was tickets to see Devotchka at the Benaroya Hall tonight playing with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra . We absolutely LOVE Devotchka's music and Nick Urata's majestic voice. Hearing them with our wonderful symphony orchestra will be an amazing experience.

Really so excited!!!

I just heard on the radio yesterday that Devotchka is playing somewhere down here too. I remember Elijah's movie Everything is Illuminated used the Devotcha song "How It Ends" for the trailer.

One of my very favorite songs, though it makes me sad every time I hear it. I do hope they do it tonight with the symphony. And EII is where Cathy and I learned to love Devotchka.
