I'll be honest, it's hard for me to feel all patriotic. You can point most of the blame at my job. One other school in the system would play a piece of classical music every morning over the intercom, I think on the theory that classical music helps boost one's brain power. So our school started playing music too, only since it's near a naval base

The reason why I'm bleh about this holiday is because when I see myself and millions of other Americans out of work who need jobs, what is there to celebrate? I want to work and start making money again so I can finally get out of the rut I'm in, but no one wants to hire me. And that's the same thing millions of other Americans want - a better life. A life where they have a job and a stable income where they can support themselves
