I drove all the way in to work today - which is about a 45 minute drive now - only to find out it was a teacher inservice day, which meant I had today off. Heh. I feel a little silly, but at least I erred on the side of caution

I would have liked one more day, myself.
Reminds me of a time back in 4th-6th grade-ish after Spring Vacation. I had gone out to one of the corners on Monday morning to wait for the bus, and I see one of my friends pulling up into their driveway, just coming back from their vacation. I'm thinking he's gonna have an awful rush from coming back from a trip and heading off to school. So I ask him and his parents, aren't you gonna be late for school? They reply today was still Spring Break yet, to which I scurry back home thinking why doesn't anyone tell me these things?!? =P
