ACK! SEATTLE IS TO BIG!

OK-so im trying to figure out a Seattle game plan, and im looking at stupid maps and im totally confused!
We will be taking the train...which is at 303 S Jackson st. We want to get a cheap motel (motel 6 quality) somewhere near there, but near to all the attractions also... is this possible? Anyone, anyone.....

A cheap motel in actual Seattle? I would be surprised if you find one... but then again, I'm not all that familiar with Seattle... even though I've lived within 20 miles of it for 3 years.

What price range are you looking for? I found one for $80 a night... Quality Inn and Suites... not sure the exact address but it says it's in downtown Seattle.
