I just watched an umpire make THE WORST CALL I have ever seen in my life. Armando Galarraga had a perfect game. A PERFECT GAME. He hit the bag for the last out three feet ahead of the runner, and the umpire called it safe

Something like this actually happened before... In 1972, Milt Pappas of the Cubs went to 2-2 on the 27th batter of a pending perfect game, only to have the next two pitches called balls. (Which the Cubs thought were strikes)

I still think Don Denkinger's missed call in the 9th inning of Game 6 of the 1985 World Series was worse.

Owch! I know they won't change the result, but won't thdy do something to the ump? Depending on his record, I'd think it'd start at a fine and suspension and go on up to getting canned.
