so my tale begins a few weeks ago.....i hurt my left ankle. not exactly sure how, but it has been hurting for a few weeks....my pcp ordered an xray, not broken, so he sent me to a podiatrist. so this morning I head on down to Dr. Discont's office, and see no dr.d, but a man named dr. saunders (apperantly, discont left the practice about 5 years ago ( Read more... )

Don't let that boot slow you down, I walked from UA to the Folk shop (well over a mile away) and back several times while wearing mine and Kyle and I took lots of walks. I actually wore through the rubber on the bottom in some places and was starting on the plastic before I was allowed to were real shoes again. Just make sure that the normal shoe you wear is the right height compared to the boot. I found my hiking boots worked great...

yea, none of my shoes are at the right height...i hope i don't screw up my right ankle redistributing the weight....

Do you have real sneakers (not Converse) or boots? I found that boots really did work the best...you might want to see if you can find some at a decent price if you're gonna be in the boot for very long because otherwise lots of things get out of alignment because you're lopsided...
