my comp has been crashing to blue screens a lot rescently, somthing to do with a Disk Boot Error, and when it crashes it says its "dumping physical memory" or sumthin like that. Does anyone know what causes this?
Rough Hist - 1. Windows ME buggers totally so I install XP 2. Re-install all of the office progs,Crashes thru out, Also installed CIV2 but i doubt thats it, cant be a virus as it hasnt been connected to the net since i changed to XP.
the only thing i can think of adding is that my D-F: drives are FAT32....C: drive isnt, its the other one (NTFS?) does that help?
My sisters comp (xp) is doing exactly the same. its had a new HDD, Ram and Xp reinstalled, and it still does it. Id agree its most likely something hard disk related, it was with my sisters. Apart from getting a replacement drive and reinstalling xp im outta advice.

but that's mostly to do with a glass of water a couple of years ago and a heck of a lot of overheating.
