Blade 2

[It's just another normal day in Mayfield, which naturally means at least one of it's residents has to be up to something.  Today that happens to be Kyoko.  She's decided she needs to get out and do something other than sitting around the house; besides, she's already altered enough of the clothes so she can carry her items.  So, what does this ( Read more... )

(It's usually quite peaceful at the park. But today, Miss Pauling notices the presence of a woman throwing what seems to be dining ware at plates. She's not going to interrupt, but she will sit down at the bench to watch her.)

[The knives are sharp and some form of defense Kyoko is used to, so Miss Pauling will be greeted to the girl pulling blades from what seems to be altered clothes and directing them firmly at the plates. Each knife seems to hit the center of the plate, as well]

[If Kyoko is aware of the other woman's presence, however, she doesn't bother to show it as she watches another plate finally lose the battle and shatter]

(Whoever this women is, she is good.

She's just content to keep watching for now though. She's not the type to disturb others who are busy at work. However, she is writing something in a little black book. She flinches a bit when a plate shatters, but other than that she makes no further comment or action.)

[Kyoko seems to stop when the plate shatters, and clicks her tongue. She throws a glance at the other woman, maybe she knew she was there?, before going over to carefully pick up the large shards.]

[Coming near the trash can near the bench, she nods at Miss Pauline, although she may just be trying to see what she's writing]

That's gonna dull your knives mate.

*Sniper is standing behind her and to the left, just watching. Really he's critiquing her aim.*

[Kyoko actually turns sharply, her current knife at ready to send it flying if necessary, before she frowns softly at him. You don't just stand behind someone like that, Sniper.]

They can be re-sharpened. Besides, I don't have any straw to make proper dummies.

[And she may just be watching you closely. She doesn't like people coming up on her like that]

*He takes a step back, ready to dodge if she throws at him. Not that he'd be able to move fast enough to escape her blades, but at least it wouldn't hit him in the face.*

If you say so. Jus' seems loike a weird thing t' be practicin' your aim on.

[She lowers the blade enough anyway, when he takes a step back, that her stance isn't so aggressive]

Do you have a better idea? I looked around the house but didn't see much that would work that we didn't actually need.

[ Firo abandons his walk in the park in favor of watching Kyoko and her knives. He finds a spot off to the side so he doesn't get pegged by a knife and stands there, intrigued. ]

[Since he isn't bothering her, or really seem to be showing any aggressive tendencies, Kyoko will finish her shots before she acknowledges him, simply nodding faintly]

Hello.

Hey.

[ He nods toward the battered plates. ]

You got pretty nice aim. I've never seen anybody throwin' knives like that.

It's not exactly the most used skill. [She agrees] But I find it very useful.
