I agree with you about change. I've drifted away from an old friend recently because I just realize we're really different people. It was weird because it was so sudden.

Oh! I finished Speak! It was hella good. I don't think I could read it again, but it was definitely worth the read. Thanks for recommending it~!

Ah, I know that one. I drifted away from my best friend of yeeeaaars a while back. It's always a little sad when you drift apart, even when you know that you have hardly anything in common.

I know what you mean by probably not reading it again. I might read it again some time in the future, but if so, probably on a slow work day.
I'm glad you liked it! <3

Yeah, that's the thing. I realize I don't want to hold a grudge or anything against her, although it was sort of a one sided relationship. I feel a lot more free now that I've just stopped going over to hang out. It is kind of sad, but it's definitely healthier to stay away.

Who knows, maybe in the future I will come back to it. It's good enough that I might. It was very heavy, despite the dark humor, but that's not necessarily a bad thing at all. I like reading darker material. Maybe I've just been reading too much dark material lately lol! Yeah, anyways, I really enjoyed it :D

It was pretty much the same situation with me. I know what you mean when you say it's healthier to stay away, but at the same time you miss the relationship itself.

Yeah, it is pretty heavy material. It's for that reason that I just wouldn't give it to an 11 year old like the publisher suggests. I found the book to be heavy, I assume that an 11 year old would as well, if they understood the subject at least.

Haha, dark material is always good, though. :)
