HBO to adapt George R.R. Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice as a cable series.
i'm not a fan of the books [yet, having not read them. though y'all seem to dig them], but given that the producers have Troy and Halo to their credit, i'm not sure how it'll be.

Don't know if you knew this, but J. Michael Straczynski is supposedly writing the screenplay adaptation of World War Z. Babylon 5 + zombies = gB does the dance of awesome.

I'm a big fan of GRRM, so I hope that HBO series does it justice.

Oooooh, the Song of Fire and Ice series is really really good. Fantasy-themed, but very light on magic, mostly political intrigue between ruling families in a Medieval European-style world. I was telling Grahm over Christmas that he should read them. I hope they translate well to TV!!
