Wow, you kind of forget (or never realise at all) that moving out and away from home means completely starting afresh, having to meet new people all the time and (from the sounds of it) having no sense of familiarity to lean on.

Sounds like you need one big, long hug. How often will you see your family and friends these days?

I disagree that it's all downhill for Maths. I find that things like that just need time to "click" and if you work at it, it will happen for you. I'm sure you'll see yourself improving over the next couple of weeks!
