I am looking for someone named Sonya, or Sofya Semyonovna. I doubt I will find her here, but I suppose it is worth trying. She has to find me, she should know where to go, I think.

I still do not fully understand what is going on here.

1, searching, sonya

Do any of us, really, love?

Anyway, even if she was here, I don't know she'd know where to go. Doesn't look like anyone does when we come here!

'sa funny sounding name, too. Where you from?

Hun...? I'm afraid I don't understand.

How long have you been here?

This is a strange place but you'll get used to it in time!

Oh let's see here...almost two months now!

Two months?

Good God.

Welcome to Hell.

Or ... I suppose it shall be called Purgatorium, as the gods wish.

You are merely here to atone for your sins, no matter how minor or grand they may be - or at least, that is the gods' stated purpose for this place.

I do not trust the word of any god that demands money in payment for deeds.

Atonement. Hm. Judgement which does not take circumstances into consideration is not justice, it's folly.

I would not have trusted the words of gods anyway, on the whole.

Agreed. This place is a breeding ground of folly. Only man may judge mankind.

I am Colonel Treize Khushrenada, and you are?

Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov, sir.

If this place truly was set up by gods (and what parody is that, in itself?) it can only be a source of entertainment, to watch the common scurry underfoot. And where common mass, so too does folly.

Oh, wow, another Russian, sir!

Привет, сэр!

ДобрЬій вечер, сэр!

((OOC: At this point I must stop with the Cyrillic, because I’m using Word to insert each character and it’s breaking my brain. But the italicized text is in Russian <3 andomgyou’replayingBartokIloveyou))

How long have you been here for? Where are you from? Why, this is so unexpected, I thought everyone would be from some other planet or another apart from the Lovett woman, apparently, but her English makes me wonder! I am Rodion Romanovich, and you are?

[He pauses abruptly, blinks, and eyes the screen.]

Am I… Talking to a bat?

I've been here a week or so, sir? I'm from St. Petersburg, sir! I'm Bartok, sir.

Yes, sir, a Russian White Bat, sir! Was... was my Master with you, sir?
