Valentine's Day. ^_^
I must say I do love the holiday. Yes, I know it's mostly corporate psycho-propoganda to get us to buy stuffed bears and colorfully wrapped chocolates for people we probably won't even be with by next year, but...I dunno, any holiday that celebrates love between individuals is OK in my book. What the world needs now is love, sweet love, after all. XD
My plans for Valentine's Day are rarely of the romantical kind. My dating style is, I'll date anyone who isn't an idiot...hence why I'm still single. *grin* Okay, that sounds a bit egotistical, but it's mainly true.
So my plans are to go out with friends that I truly care about, get drunk, watch "Valentine's Day", then come back home with everyone and watch a bunch of Broadway musical/Disney movies as we sing along while trying to eat ice cream at the same time. And honestly, that sounds WAAAAAAAAAAY more fun than dressing up for some date.
Besides, I'll have a weekend with "the Boy" starting tomorrow night and going til Sunday. (For those who don't know, "the Boy" is a very dear friend of mine who, while we'll never date officially, basically fulfills all the duties a boyfriend should do) so the point is, I don't think I'll need anything romance-wise from him, because we have our own way of doing things.
Soooooooo, what's everyone's plans for the Holiday? Do you have that special someone you'll be sharing the day with? Or will your day be more like mine, sharing it with friends? Or do you absolutely hate the holiday? Either way, I'd love to know! SHARE!!
