So, I realized today that the medicine my doctor said I "needed", truly isn't needed by my body. In fact, it really didn't do anything that special. I could've continued to take my sinus pills I *had* been taking, which were just OTC, run-of-the-mill sinus pills. So, the "doctor" I saw, who isn't my normal doctor but another one of the same
