Basically ...

I was in a situation years ago that I hated.

I have made every effort to ensure that I will never be in that situation again. Made different choices, befriended different people ... hell, I have a job now rather than being in college - my environment is totally different.

And yet ... I feel like I am in exactly the same situation once more. And it's due to the people around me/my environment, not to any choice I've made.

well you didn't really change the people enough i assume. this is why i cut almost all of the people out of my life except the ones who don't 5. it leaves me with a pretty small list but i'd rather be bored than be surrounded by 40 different shades of faggotry all the time.

P.S.

I got bored working out while running on a treadmill. It's less than fun, despite the joy I get from beating my body up.

So I went and signed up for a Kung-Fu class.

On the form it said, "Why do you want to do "Kung-Fu?"

I responded: "Because I lack discipline."
