K icon~~~~!

I would say you made a good choice! Unless the old woman was saying that to keep her dinner from getting away, but for the sake of fairy tale compliance we're siding with the sage woman.

I play Chris~ And go by Alli. Although recently I've been getting very confused when people say "Chris" in RL because I am now mentally pinged by it. Woe.

Also I ask her why because enquiring minds need to know. Way too logical stfu.

If I'd done something fun like deciding the old lady was the monster, you'd have a higher chance of surviving! But I didn't, and you still would. Congratulations!

It depends. ARE THERE ZOMBIES? Because if there are zombies, I might listen to her.

NO ZOMBIES. If you don't listen to her, fairy tale/pop culture convention states that you're more likely to be screwed over than saved, but if you do listen to her you'll survive unless I'm being perverse. :D

But if monsters are disguised as people and some random woman comes up to me and says 'Hey, don't do that!' she may be a monster-woman!

Exactly! But it could also be that the family in the house is a family of monsters in disguise, like the old guy who ties people to a bed and stretches their bodies until they die in one of the Greek myths, and the old lady has been keeping an eye on them recently. In the end, you could be screwed either way if your luck is bad or you suck at sniffing out danger.
