Guess what I just found out while fiddling around on GJ? It's not ongoing silence, it's ongoing talk-to-anyone-but-our-customers-ness. I haven't managed to do more than skim the article so far, but SO not cool.

Aaand I just noticed a typo in my main entry. *fixes*

Maybe cuponoodles? I kind of want to stick with the ramen theme since I've stuck with it here and almost everywhere just over three and a half years, but also because I don't want to come up with something completely new just yet.

Widget is CONFUSERED!

Widget wants to take her entire flist and move someplace QUIETER, that has fewer adds and shinier graphics _-_

Widget is seriously considering proselytizing the PB to the masses, if only there were an easy way to add a blog to it :P

But, seriously, I'm a poll my flist for their favorite non-eljay blogging site, and then I'm a encourage us all to move there :P

The short of it can be broken down to "outside forces bugged LJ until they suspended a bunch of mostly-not-actually-problematic journals and comms, which made panfandom asplode in fiery anger". The long of it is starting to make my head hurt.

I may be getting a shiny bloggy blog from Dizz depending on whether the attempts at figuring out the coding for her own sends her into screaming fits of irreversible madness, but in the meantime I've been making my GJ shinier and will probably be doing the same for my PB to make up the difference if I decide to mostly-abandon LJ. (I doubt I'd leave it entirely unless CFUD somehow decided to move.)

I have a GJ now, my user name is STRUCLA.

Also, I've set up the Exodus_07 community on GJ, where new GJ users can come to talk about the fiasco and maybe make some new friends. :)

Probably so, but even being AWOL the last couple of days would be enough since as far as I know it only really started Tuesday night. The last three news posts (including one that FINALLY addressed the situation) have their comments maxed out from people trying to get answers.
