Bright Eyes has reached new heights of success - at the top of a prestigious pop music chart. Two just-released singles from the Conor Oberst-fronted band landed at No. 1 and No. 2 on this week's Billboard Hot 100 Singles Sales chart. The tracks, "Lua" and "Take It Easy (Love Nothing)," moved from No. 18 to No. 1 and No. 7 to No. 2, respectively. ( Read more... )

I didn't get to talk to him, he played forever and it was way past midnight until it was finished. And well, the gig was in Cologne, which is some 2 hrs away. And as Conor was playing Paris the next day, and Simon said they locked themselves out of their hotel room, and they had to break in, break the door or something - I guess he didn't stay after the concert anyway. :)
