Just came back from one of the most grotesque concerts in history. The National were playing in the Club Voltair pub, and nobody knew of that. And I mean nobody. We ended up being 15 people in that room during the concert, where ten of them ended up there rather accidentially... for example that buckled 70-year old granny who did circles next to me ( Read more... )

I'm watching Jilly-Anne's graduation ceremony and there are a lot of funny looking people in robes - one old guy has beautiful orange robes - and people holding the most boring speeches I have ever heard in my entire life. Been to a concert last night in Frankfurt. In the Cooky's bar, which turns out to be one of my favourite places for gigs.. everything is quite intimate there.
