So we did play a show last night. We actually blew one of the clubs monitors(the drum one) and it caught on fire. The sound guy had no fucking business mixing our set. I wish we had our own sound guy. That must be nice. Someone who knows what you want and is able to do it. Fucks sake. I couldn't hear shit. Some people in the audience said ( Read more... )

I Really wish that Bryce woulda punched somebody last night. How much fun would that be?

I really meant to say tastes similar to mine about the director.

Other people make big budget films that I think are in good taste. Well my definition of good taste any way.

that movie was one of my favorites. it was nice to see that in this day and age, film makers are still able to produce an origional movie in which most people can identify with at least one character.

I'm sorry I missed your show. Much as I love Fire of '69, I had a thing for En Esch first, and he came from farther away and I'd already seen you once and I'd never seen Slick Idiot but knew I'd have to.

Wow. Drum monitor blown out and burning? Sound guy takes the blame? Did anyone even think that it might be the black magic that is Steve's drumming that blew it up? Musical instruments are deadly weapons in the right hands.

The Royal Tenenbaums surprised me. I thought it would suck, but I liked it a lot for a big-budget film. Especially the Nico song and the kid named Uzi. It was extra sad seeing it for the first time as my parents were getting ready to split up - suddenly I can identify with dysfunctional families a lot better.
