(no subject)
So i ventured out today for the electronics sale at walmart. i was unsure about it because walmart was gonna be open all night so i figure all the hardcore ppl are going to want to get there early. My sister and I got there at 4am and we both go into our lines each. she went to get into an ipod line and I went to find my tv line. I went to the back to where the paper said it was and then i see theres a big line. im like ugghh great. so then they are like actually, your tv is in a different line (why my tv i dunno but it was the only one in my line, while the other line had everyone else). so i go to the other line which is at the very beginning of the store, turn the corner and see theres only two ppl in the line. im like woooow im thinking im getting a tv! so then the woman that was second in line actually goes off cuz the first woman's daughter had a ticket for a bigger tv that they decided they didnt want after all and so the second woman decides to take it. so then i become second in line. and so i wait until 5 to be able to leave. I meet up with my sister and then I decide to get an ipod which my mom was gonna pay for me. I decided to get one cuz my mom said i was allowed one thing for xmas. And i was like, you will pay for my tv? and shes like, just 1 thing. but i decided to be nice and just do the ipod which was cheaper. So She splits the ipod cost with me, she pays cash, then i pay with my visa. When you got an ipod you got a 50 dollar walmart gift card so i then used the gift card for my tv. And then i try paying for my tv and my visa wont allow it. Im like ughhh i was afraid this would happen, cuz i know i wasnt near the credit limit but ive never bought anything really expensive before and here i was buying about 600 dollars worth within 2 minutes so i figured my visa was just trying to protect me, which made me use my check card which i didnt really wanna do >.> but oh well. Then i try and get my blu-ray player and pay for it with my visa and it still wouldn't let me five minutes later.
Sooooo then it is 6 am practically and in order to get my tv i have to go in my car around the building cuz they have them in trailers. so theres one guy ahead of me waiting for the same tv and they said we had to wait cuz they were bringing more from inside. so im waiting...10 min...15, 20,25,30 and its like ughh. so i hear talk about how they cant find the tvs and how they dont think there are anymore. and a third guy shows up wanting the same tv so we are just wating. and so im thinking, well i kinda paid for it annnd not to mention i was second in the actual line. so then the manager comes and gives us each 25 dollar gift cards because we had to wait so long. so im like, ok. and then they roll out 2 televisions. and the guy handing the tvs out is like there better be another one coming! and hes like no, this is all we got. so im thinking, so whats gonna happen? Soooo the first guy apparently works there and they took him aside and were gonna talk to him, so i guess they were gonna give him a really sweet deal or something cuz the manager came over and told me and the guy behind me that those tvs were ours and said how these were like 200 dollars better or something, i figured that he meant the first guy was gonna get a bigger tv but different brand and thats why these were kinda still just as good. later as i unloaded it into my house i notice that it is the same LG brand, same size, buuuut the HZ for the tv is actually 120hz and not the 60hz i was supposed to get, so i think that's what he meant how this was a 200 dollar better deal. Hz deal with like, the reset of picture or something. like if it is a quick scene it will be less blurry the higher the HZ are. sooo yeah, turned out well for me!
annnd at work i got my gecko! ill have to upload a pic later. but i saved like 80 dollars between the cage kit, and him so i only paid 66 dollars, when normally he costs about 55 dollars alone and the cage kit is about 89 dollars. I tried feeding him so everyone could see but i dont think he was hungry cuz he probably ate this morning that and he was probably still warming up cuz he was really cold by the time i got him home, even though he had been in the cage for about 3 hours. so i shall wait until tomorrow night to feed him. still no name though.
