(no subject)
whew...so tonight was good for the most part. a nice outing with tracy and dayle. we went to dinner to red robin which i have never been to ever before and that was scrumptious! the chili chili cheese dip was fantastic along with everything else. (although i feel like their glasses are on the small side so i felt like a pig cuz i had 3 refills xD) then we were gonna watch Due Date but that didnt start for another two hours so we went to walmart to fiddle around in to waste time. We seriously looked through an entire bin of 5 dollar movies, or at least dayle and i did. we just keep wasting time walking around and looking at stuff. then after about an hour and 15 minutes there is a message on the intercom saying something like, "would a mr. rodriguez with a silver mustang please come to customer service" and i was like what? so im like wondering what happened, maybe i was in trouble for not parking very well (cuz all the cars were crooked really) or if someone like broke into my car. and then they call another person and their car so im like oh great i probably got hit. and so the guy up front was like yeah someone had accidentally hit you and a couple other cars. their car started rolling in the parking lot and there are cops out there now, it was all seen on surveillance cameras. so im like oh great, imagining my bumper completely gone.
when i go out there the oldsmobile is kinda in an empty parking space next to mine and i see it is pretty much barely hitting the left back bumper and top of my trunk with its mirror. so im like, well thats not too bad but it is gonna be a scratch on it. so after a while the police takes the info and everything. the guy that has the other car is a hispanic and does not have a license. so im like oh great hes gonna go to jail over this. buuut he did have insurance and the cop was like, you need someone with a license to come pick this car up and im not taking you to jail or anything cuz i didnt actually see you drive the car but someone else needs to come get the car. so that was about a 20 minute deal. turns out the guy didnt put the car in "park" when he parked it but rather it was turned off while it was in the "reverse" gear. so dumb, but my car doesn't look too bad. ill have to take a picture and post it later.
then it was off to the movies for us and we saw due date which, when buying my ticket get this...i was actually asked for i.d. at first i didnt hear her and she was like i.d. i was like oh...uhhhh ok. why thank you i guess i mean, i am 22 but sure here you go. the movie wasnt terrible, but it wasnt fantastic. it had its funny moments and then it had moments where it tried making you laugh but it wasnt really going anywhere with it or working out that well. And now i must go to bed because i have to get up around 4:30 to go to work at 5:30 in the morning >.>
