the paint is actully a textured fleckstone. i wanted it to match the wrought iron black daybed i have.
though it serves as my altar and storage of wiccan supplies, i am going to have the rest of the room eventually decked out in an Indian theme- East India, not Native American, as i have to explain to a lot of people here.
there's already ceramic and plastic elephants on the window sill. but i want to get beaded curtains and set out ornate candle holders amd velvet & satin tassle pillows.
i gave my hookah pipe to Jennifer, so i need to get a new one. not a big one- just one big enough to have on a dresser.
the wiccan dresser may wind up going in the closet, now that i think about it... unless i can find a nice Indian throw for the top...
ps, thanks for liking it! i am pretty pleased, myself.
as much as i REALLY loved the cherub lamp, as it was, it's badly chipped. i am trying to get it to where i can paint it silver, THEN antique it.
