Who did you get the loan through (I am assuming that it wasn't directly with citibank, since they mostly operate through 3rd parties up here).

Oh, I will. However, they have already bent over backwards for me. They were unable to make a delivery date and I waited around all day, so they gave me two free gel-foam pillows and a free slipcover for the king sized bed. The store price for those was probably upwards of $150/$200 dollars (and they're the best pillows EVAR). But, I will let them know that I was very unhappy with their choice of citifinancière as a financer, and that if it comes down to that as a selling point in the future, I would only accept the finance plan with some unrelated institution.

Hah, are you kidding? A company that is about to go bankrupt, holding your loan? I can think of worse things. It is when they are holding your money that you have a problem ;).

It is true. Thank goodness for the almost pathologically boring ING and Royal banks, where I keep my money.

But something bad must happen if your lender implodes, no?
