The interesting bit is, besides the blatant ignorance, the lack of understanding when America is actually itself working as a socialist country. The mere act of spending the tax-payers dollars on a bill that will ensure the economy for the banks is in fact a socialist one. Supporting the wine farmers in California with funds and by taxing foreign products to the hilt is the way the Soviet Union worked.
Still, to most American the mere mentioning of socialism is an invitation to throwing a fit and fetch the pitch-forks.
Oh, but it CAN'T be socialism when good, hardworking BUSINESSMEN are getting the money! That's just keeping capitalism strong in this country. It's only socialism* when THOSE** people get the money.
